OWLs Read-a-thon Update

owls

We are now over half-way done with September, which means half of the time gone for the OWL Read-a-thon! My goal was to see how many of the 11 books I listed at the beginning I could read over the course of the month. I mainly chose books that have been sitting on my bookshelf for longer than I would like to admit.

So, how am I doing you ask? Wellllll…… If you had asked me this time last week I would have been so excited to tell you that I finished three books last weekend, but that completely burned me out. I have been struggling through the other books on my list now. So far I have read:

Hope Never Dies by Andrew Shaffer

Fairest by Marissa Meyer

One of Us is Lying by Karen McManus

….. and I have started How to Tame a Fox by Lee Alan Dugatkin. My hope is to finish that one this week. Unfortunately, I have an EXTREMELY busy week ahead of me because of work, but I must prevail!

Through this whole process, there have been some amazing fellow bloggers supporting me and each other as they too make it through their OWLs. A big shout out to Sophie @ Blame Chocolate, Steph @ Steph LovesLily @ Sprinkles of Dreams, Jackie @ Bookworm Cafe, Rachael @ From Rachael Claire, and Davi @ Independently Thinking. You all are beyond amazing!
