Happy New Year!!
2018 is gone, and 2019 is finally here! I’m not one for New Year’s Resolutions, but I do enjoy making lists of goals I hope to accomplish. Those are totally different, right?
While I have many personal goals for the year (get my PhD, find a job, etc), most of my goals revolve around reading and blogging. This last year was my first serious year blogging, and I had a blast doing it. While I am please with how last year went, I want to improve and do even better this year!
When I make goals, I like to not only challenge myself, but also to go into it with a reasonable limit, so that I don’t get discouraged at my ambitious goals. I’ve made that mistake before!
For 2019, I am aiming to:
- Read 50 books
- Read 20 backlist books
- Get up to and maintain an 80% feedback ratio on NetGalley
- Review 25 new books on NetGalley
- Have 150 blog followers
- Post 100 blog posts
I think that’s enough to keep me busy all year. I’m working on keeping track of my blog happenings much more rigorously this year, thanks to Kaleena’s AMAZING book blog spreadsheet. If you haven’t seen it, it is pure gold.
Here’s to a great and productive New Year! What are your goals? Let’s work on them together!! ^.^
I love your goals, and good luck with finishing your PhD! Thanks so much for linking to my book blogger spreadsheet and I hope you find it helpful!!!
