February Wrap Up and Blog Milestone

monthly wrap-up

Here we are, halfway through March, but I never did a wrap up of last month! Ah! I feel like I’m a month behind with everything in my life. Every have those days (or weeks, months, maybe even year)? Haha *sobs*

February was not the most productive month for me, reading wise. I haven’t really had the motivation to do much of anything lately. So I’ve been slogging through my daily routine in the hopes that once spring arrives, this will all turn around. I girl can dream, right?

Total books read: 3

Genres:
Crafting: 1
Science Fiction: 1
Fantasy: 1

I’m happy to say that Severance was one of the books that was pulled out of my TBR Jar, so I actually accomplished that goal! Woo! Additionally, I took a long hard look at Stone of Tears, and decided I just was never going to read it. This decision was really hard for me, but was made easier by the fact that I am listening to the audiobooks for Wheel of Time, and remembered what it felt like to really get into an epic fantasy. I missed WoT so much, it will forever be my favorite series. The Sword of Truth series just didn’t grab me in the same way.

This brings my yearly total of books up to 11. I’m really hoping the second half of March will be more positive and productive on so many fronts. I just got back out of my reading slump, and am hoping to really start engaging with the blogging community more. For example, I decided to create a Twitter account specifically dedicated to my book blog, separating it from my professional/personal one I have been using. Give me a follow if you’d like! (I follow back!!)

Finally, I have some big blog news: I reached 100 followers!!! I can’t believe it! I want to thank each and every one of you. You are all so amazing, positive, supportive, and inspiring. I love each and every one of you, and look forward to our continued journey together ❤ ❤ ❤

    • Aw thanks! I was surprised how much I like Circe. I saw so many people loved it and I was worried I would be disappointed by it, but it was really good! It was such a fast read that was so even paced. Let me know what you think when you get around to it!

    • Awww thank you! ^.^ I am still digesting Severance and my thoughts on it. I enjoyed it and I think it was a fairly clever book. It has been a while since I have read satire, but the more I think about it the more I enjoyed it. I do recommend it, especially since it is so different from really any other book I’ve heard of
