I joined The Book of the Month Club back in February of 2017. Since then I have amounted 28 books on my shelf with 2 more in the mail arriving this week. I signed up for BOTM with every intention of keeping up with the books I ordered and not getting more until I finished the prior month’s. And that fell by the wayside after the second month… I just really have zero self control when it comes to books. And one thing led to another and now I am a BFF in the Club so I get free books for my birthday and my choice of the top book of the year.

I have recently run out of places to put my books as I had them constrained to one specific bookshelf, because they looked so beautiful and uniform together. Observe:

No big deal… I’ll finish reading these in all of my free time, HA! I’ve been a little bit of a non-fiction kick lately, which has me reading much slower than normal. I think the most efficient path forward would be to power through some of the murder mystery and thriller books, since I can devour those in a weekend. My original goal was to finish this shelf this year, but that would put me at 3-4 of these books a month which is a little high for my comfort. Can I do it? I can try. I probably shouldn’t go getting more, though knowing me there will be several more added to the shelf in the next four months.
